Please join us on Wednesday September 24th, at 6pm for the Fall 2025 Alden Scholar Series lecture where Dr. Gustavo Arango from SUNY Oneonta's World Languages and Literatures Department will discuss his newly published book, Caribbean Troubadour: Perspectives on the life and works of Gabriel García Márquez
Held in the Alden Room (Milne Library’s Special Collections Center), the Alden Scholar Series celebrates SUNY Oneonta faculty members who have published scholarly books or produced book-length projects within the last five years. Each lecture will focus on the featured publication of the faculty member and will last approximately one hour. The presenter has the option of installing a library exhibit to complement the lecture. Refreshments will be served and the lecture will be open to the entire college community and the public.
