Self-Guided Tour of the James M. Milne Library

Wood doors open to a study space with desks, chairs, and printers.

Step-by-Step Tour of the Second Floor

  1. From the second floor stairs or elevator, you will be greeted with a foyer which holds a book display, a book shelf with spare school supplies (take whatever school supplies you need), comfortable seating areas, as well as study spaces along the window.
  2. Looking straight through the wood doors to the greater second floor (as is pictured above), you will see study spaces, printers, and the Dean of the Library's Office.
  3. To the right of the Dean of the Library's Office, you will find the Student Learning Center: Tutoring & Writing Center, the center's staff offices, tutoring space, and tutoring labs 214 and 215.
  4. Continuing back to the left past the Dean of the Library's Office, you will find more study spaces, the second floor printers, a computer with the library catalog, and stacks of books. The stacks on the second floor house books from LC classification numbers M-P.
  5. Continue walking towards and through the stacks to find more study spaces, computers, and AV equipment.
