Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Introduction and Overview of the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.

Faculty Electronic Delivery Services (FEDS)

All SUNY Oneonta faculty are eligible for Faculty Electronic Delivery Services (FEDS).  This service involves scanning and delivery of academic related materials.  We no longer provide paper photocopies of any materials.  All scans are delivered through the ILLiad system.  You will check your ILLiad account for personally delivered items.

There are three types of FEDS.  Milne Library staff will scan articles and book chapters from personally owned, interlibrary loaned, or Milne Library items.  Each request is limited to 30 pages.  Please fill out the FEDS request form and bring it, along with the item(s) to be scanned, to the Circulation Desk at Milne Library or the Interlibrary Loan Office in Milne Library, Room B216.

Often you will be able to access electronic journals directly.  Please check for the availability of a journal article through the Journals tab on the library’s home page.  Embedded in most of the electronic indexes and article databases are links that say “Linked Full Text,” which is a tool that creates links from the citations in one database to the full text, when it is available, in another database.  When electronic full text in not available, a “Request through interlibrary loan” link may appear.

Questions concerning FEDS should be directed by email to libloan@oneonta.edu or by phone to 607-436-2726.
