As the pressure of finals week builds, it’s easy to forget that taking a break is just as important as studying. 

The Milne Library, in collaboration with the Counseling Center and Student Care and Well-Being, the Office of Student Experience and Huntington Memorial Library is hosting a Study Day event on Wednesday, May 7th, and we’d love for you to join us. This event is designed to give you a fun and relaxing break from the grind, offering a chance to recharge before diving back into exam prep. Whether you're looking to de-stress or just have a little fun, this is the perfect opportunity to take a step back and focus on self-care. 

Come join us for a well-deserved break – we can’t wait to see you there!  

9:00 AM - Close: Snacks, crafts, and support resources  

Take a break and enjoy some delicious snacks, try out some fun crafts, and connect with support resources to help you recharge. 

11:00am-12:00pm: Sip & Yap with Mental Health Peer Educators  

Ease your finals worries over tea with Mental Health Peer Educators, brought to you by the Counseling Center.

12:00pm-4:00 pm: Gel Plate Printing and Decoupage (LEAD Credit eligible)

Get creative with gel plate printing and decoupage! Make beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints to take home. Plus, you’ll earn LEAD credit for participating! 

1:00pm-4:00pm: Huntington Memorial Library Visit 

Stop by to sign up for a library card with Huntington Memorial Library (HML) and get started with the Libby app for free eBooks and audiobooks—just bring proof of ID! 

5:00pm: Therapy Dog  

Paws and relax. Take a break with Tiny, the therapy dog! Cuddle, de-stress, and enjoy some much-needed puppy love during finals week.

 Late Night Nibbles  

Enjoy free tea, coffee, and cookies late at night, brought to you by Milne Library and Sodexo!
