Please join us on Friday, November 7th, from 2-4 pm in Milne 102A to “Fall in Love with Reading"! The Fall in Love with Reading event will invite students to make a tiny book craft, spark new social connections with their peers, enjoy fall themed snacks such as apple cider and donut holes, and de-stress by spending time with Poppy the therapy dog!
The tiny book craft (as is pictured above) will include making tiny book “to be read” (or TBR) lists by gluing tiny book covers to a piece of foam which will act as the book’s pages. By the end of the event, students will walk away with tiny three-dimensional TBR lists which they can then use to guide which books they will read next!
Please use this Campus Connection entry for the Fall in Love with Reading Event to RSVP with your TBR book lists by October 31st. Alternatively, if you have run out of time to RSVP or are not sure which specific books you would like to read next, please still feel free to stop by the event where we will have extra tiny book covers ready for you to choose from to make your own tiny book craft.
Fall in Love with Reading is a collaborative event hosted by SUNY Oneonta’s Milne Library, Counseling Center, and Office of Student Experience. We hope to see you on November 7th from 2-4 pm in Milne 102A!
