Beyond books showcase and reception

We’re excited to announce the launch of our showcase series, "Beyond Books: Discovering the hidden artists of the library." This series is all about giving our talented staff a chance to share their creative works while fostering conversation and idea-sharing. It’s a great opportunity for the campus community to see that there’s so much more to us than just books!

Our first featured artist is AJ Sanders, whose incredible crochet pieces are on display in the main lobby of the library, right by the circulation desk. You can check them out from now until October 28th. Everyone—SUNY Oneonta students, faculty, staff, and members of the Oneonta community—is welcome to come and appreciate these wonderful creations.

If you’d like to meet AJ, we’re hosting a reception on October 9th from 3 PM to 4 PM in Room 102A of the library. Stop by and chat with him!
