The files below will give you a better understanding of library lingo (for instance, what is a call number?  what is a periodical?)  Additionally, you will be able to see the different types of periodicals, and what makes scholarly, peer-reviewed articles the best for research.

Welcome to your EXSC 2240: Motor Learning and Development guide for library research!  This guide is designed to help you utilize the resources and services available to you from Milne Library, particularly regarding your research in this class.  It is organized by topic using the tabs on the left.

Research Consultations

When you need in-depth help on a topic for a research paper or project, you can schedule an hour-long, one-on-one research consultation with a reference librarian. Reference librarians provide personal research consultations regarding specialized resources, specific assignments, or other in-depth research needs. Consultations will be conducted online via Teams or through email with the assigned librarian.
