The Common Read Committee is pleased to announce Carry: A Memoir of Survival on Stolen Land by Toni Jensen as the 2025-26 Common Read at SUNY Oneonta. Carry is a powerful memoir-in-essays that explores the intersections of gun violence, land, and the lived experiences of Indigenous women. Through lyrical prose and deeply personal narratives, Jensen examines the ways violence both historical and contemporary shapes communities, identities, and the land itself.
