Use the Databases tab at the top of the Milne Library website to locate the A-Z list. You can locate particular databases alphabetically by title, if you know the name of the database, for example, New York Times Digital. You can also type the title of the database in the search box Database Title/Keyword. When you enter Newspapers, however, as a keyword, your results will include those databases where the title or description includes the word “Newspaper.”
** Note that there are additional newspaper databases that are not listed in the results because they do not include the word “Newspaper” in the title or description, for example, The Times Digital (London), Wall Street Journal. These databases cover single newspaper titles unlike the other databases listed. Selected databases include other types of resources in addition to newspapers, for example, Nexis Uni also contains full text of legal and business resources.
The listed newspaper databases have been reviewed by teaching and library faculty members who evaluate the database contents and rely on professional assessments of the database’s value for research and teaching before the library subscribes to the service. Newspapers included in these databases can be used to cross check the accuracy of information found in other sources.
