The Pandemic Diaries Project To Continue Through Fall Semester

by Darren Chase on 2020-05-15T12:05:00-04:00 | 0 Comments

The History Department in collaboration with Milne Library and the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center has created a Pandemic Diary project for students, faculty and staff: The Semester of Living Dangerously. Conceived by Adjunct Assistant Professor of History Ann Traitor, The Semester of Living Dangerously is in the form of a blog and print diary digital archive. It is modeled on the famous Mass Observation diaries which were set up in Britain in the 1930s as it faced the Great Depression and a looming war with Germany.

With more than 100 entries created in three weeks by members of our Oneonta community, The Semester of Living Dangerously is thriving.  So much so that the editors are keeping it open for entries through the Fall semester and possibly beyond.

To see the wonderful, thoughtful, funny, honest entries --and contribute your own-- visit The Semester of Living Dangerously https://pandemicdiariesoneonta.sunycreate.cloud/.
