It is important to give credit when you summarize, paraphrase, or quote other scholars in your papers by including appropriate citation in your paper. The library has a guide that can help you accurately cite your resources. Campus Resources

The Student Learning Center, located on the 2nd floor of Milne Library, offers workshops to help you refine your writing and study skills.  They also offer tutoringwriting assistancestudy skills, (including how to avoid plagiarism, how to study, learning disability resources, math strategies, memory strategies, note taking, stress management, time management, etc.) and more!

Information Technology Services provides computer hardware and software assistance at the IT Service Desk on the basement level of the library (for immediate assistance, call 607-436-4567) and online through ServiceNow.  Also check out their Getting Started page which has helpful links, antivirus instructions, student computer specifications, and more.

Excelsior College Online Writing Lab is the best online guide to help you format papers and citations. It also provides tutorials on how to do research, write papers, and create annotated bibliographies.
